I am poem project:This my I am poem project. In language arts we had to right a peom then in art we had to make a piece of art related to your I am poem project.
My I Am Poem: I am an animal loving girl, and a caring sister. I ponder if my brother can ever hear himself when he talks without his cochlear implants on. I hear the sound of my little sister laugh with my brother. I see my four cats keeping their distance from each other. I want to know better how my sister acts, and why she acts the way she does. I am an animal loving girl, and a caring sister. I pretend that I sometimes have a bunny of my own to show at fair. I feel such bliss when I cradle my friend's bunnies, or pet them. I touch the mane of my friend's horse, Ginger. I have a concern when my friend's bunnies or Ginger get hurt. I sob when she tells me one of them has expired. I am an animal loving girl, and a caring sister. I understand what it is like to lose a mom. I say to myself I will see my mom someday. I dream about the day when I become a photographer. I try to do my best when it comes to being a big sister. I hope that I learn more American Sign Language. I am an animal loving girl, and a caring sister. |

Print making projectLinoleum print:
Process of linoleum printmaking: ~first what I did was on the linoleum slab backwards I carved out the word snow, so that when I printed it would turn out left to right in white. ~Next what I did was I used a brayer, and rolled it in ink then I transferred the ink to the linoleum slab. ~What I did next was I had to press it down on a piece of paper eight times. ~When I was done with the color I was using I washed of the slab. ~Then I carved into it with snow flakes. ~I had to mix two colors together to get the color I wanted. ~I then repeated what I did when I first printed onto the paper. ~After I printed and cleaned I carved away the boarder off the print. ~Printed with the last color. ~Cleaned print ~Lastly cut out each individually (final print had a little bit of chatter) |
